Principal’s Pen

Good Morning:

Well it appears that our reprieve from the frigid winter weather has ended. I hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy the warm weather we had over the weekend.

Congratulations to Adam DeWitt for his very successful fundraising event last Sunday afternoon. Through your generous donations Adam is able to donate several thousand dollars to the the Travis Mills Foundation.

On Friday night I had the privilege of attending the swim meet against Camden and watching our senior swimmers in one of their last high school swim meets. I appreciate the many hours and laps they put in during their swim season. As the winter sports season nears the end a big thank you goes out to all who participated on the courts, in the pool, on the mats, and around the track.

Report cards are in the mail. You will find a letter included in the mailing that asks you to participate in the NEASC survey. This survey, as I mentioned before, is part of the accreditation process that the high school will be going through during the upcoming school year. Your feedback, along with students and staff, will be included in our self-study. The window to complete the survey is January 31-February 16th. If you do not have access to a laptop/computer and would like to participate in the survey please swing by the high school at your convenience and we will set you up with one. Thank you for helping us with this survey.

Enjoy the week
