Good Morning:

What a beautiful weekend we just had. Spring has finally decided to make an appearance. Last Friday the students participated in a fun-filled Spring Fling. Thank you to Mrs. Colby and the Student Council members who made things run so smoothly.

These next few weeks will be hectic ones and we hope that students will take care of themselves and not get overly stressed out. For seniors the thought of graduating can be overwhelming at times and for the underclassmen the thought of having to be in school 2 weeks longer than the seniors can seem tiring. If you notice that your student is having a difficult time please do not hesitate to reach out to his/her school counselor for help.

Tuesday, May 22nd is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 11:30 and buses will arrive at 12:00 to take all students home.

There are many end of the year events taking place this week. The Band and Chorus will perform their end of the year concert this Thursday at 7:00 in the PAC. While this is a celebration of the accomplishments of the senior members of both the chorus and band it is also a sentimental one (bring your kleenex).

JMG will be holding their annual end of the year ceremony this Wednesday at 6:00 in the PAC.

Many of our athletic teams are honoring their senior team personnel at upcoming games.

MMTC will hold their Student Recognition Night this Thursday at 7:00 over at Lawrence High School.

We have posted out end of the calendars for both the seniors as well as the underclassmen. Please reach out to us if you have any questions. The freshmen, sophomores and juniors are all signed up for their YES programs. Again, we would like to welcome you to come over to the high school during June 14-20 to see what students are doing. Many of the activities are taking place on campus but we have a few that will be traveling. We have a group of students headed to Bar Harbor to camp and explore Mt. Desert Island. There are students going down to Boston for a music experience and we have students heading out to Camp Tracy to learn about kayaking.

We hope you are able to join us at one or several of the upcoming activities.

Enjoy the week

Paula
