Principal’s Pen: September 9-13

We need your help! The freshmen class is in need of class advisors and with Homecoming right around the corner the need is even greater. Typically there are two adults who would split a stipend to cover these responsibilities but we would certainly entertain anyone who might be interested in even doing this on their own. The only qualification is that you need to be fingerprinted and while that will take some time to complete we can certainly help out until the person or persons are cleared to be hired. If you are interested please call me at 465-7381 anytime between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Picture Day is this Monday, September 9th. Students should have brought home their order forms if there is an interest in purchasing the photos. We have extra forms here in the office that students can pick up prior to having their picture taken. The make up day is October 29th.

We had a very successful week of athletics on our new field. Field hockey, girl’s soccer, boy’s soccer, and football were all winners last week. Congratulations to all and good luck with the upcoming season.

The All Sports Boosters will be holding their first meeting of the year Monday night beginning at 6:00 pm in the library. Anyone who is interested in being apart of this organization are welcome to attend.

During lunch on Wednesday all clubs at MHS will set up information tables explaining what they do throughout the year. We would encourage your sons/daughters to take advantage of the many clubs that are available to them. It is a great way to meet new people and try new things.

Please find attached a few photos from the first day of school for the Class of 2023. Throughout the year I will be posting photos of different events that are or have taken place at the high school. Opening Day

Enjoy the week
