Principal’s Pen: March 9-13
Good Afternoon:
This week’s letter focuses on the COVID-19 virus. As you know the information we are receiving from news outlets, medical professionals and government officials is constantly being updated. Last night Mr. Gartley posted a district update and I have attached it for your review.Corona Virus update 3 10 2020 He will continue to post updates as the information he receives changes. We will also post his updates on the front page of our webpage.
Our custodial staff is continuously cleaning all surfaces with appropriate cleaning materials and we are encouraging our students as well as staff members to practice good hygiene protocols.
Per the Governor’s order all non-essential gatherings of 250 people have been suspended for the next 30 days. As of now there is no plan to shut down any of our schools within RSU18. This means that our upcoming Robotics competitions have been canceled, the Junior Auction has been postponed, and we are making decisions on other events as I write this message.
