Principal’s Pen: November 15-19

Good Afternoon:

Our students received their report cards in their advisories this week so please be on the look out for them. If you find that your son/daughter has misplaced their report card please give us a call and we will be happy to send you on. We will be posting the honor roll in the Morning Sentinel in the next couple of weeks. If you have indicated on the emergency card that you do not wish for us to release your student’s name to outside resources  you will not see the name of your student in the newspaper. Should you wish to change this permission please call the main office and ask to speak to Sarah Dube or Denise Caouette and they will make the change for you.

As I mentioned in a previous newsletter, our drama students will be presenting 12 Angry Jurors. I made an error in writing that they would be performing on Thursday night when in fact they will only be presenting on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Ticket prices are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for seniors and students.

Next week is a two day school week. I believe that everyone is ready for a well deserved break. Our students have done very well in making sure they are wearing their masks and displaying appropriate behaviors. My colleagues around the state are struggling with increased discipline issues and I feel very lucky to work in a school where students want to learn and are respectful of one another. Thank you for the part you play in raising kind and generous young adults.
The Robotics Craft Fair is this Saturday, 9:00 am -1:00 pm. There are many gifted artisans who will be here selling their wares. Several high school organizations will be on hand selling food and homemade treats.
I wish you and your family a peaceful and safe holiday.
Paula
