Stage Bound: One Act Team Advances to States
At the regional One Act Festival hosted by Brewer High School, seven high schools competed in both Class A and Class B divisions. Competing at the Class A level, the school’s drama club faced strong performances from Brewer High School, Erskine Academy, and Old Town High School.
The team delivered an outstanding performance and earned first place, securing a spot at the upcoming state competition.
In addition to the overall win, the production received two special commendations from the judges:
• Ensemble Commendation for the entire cast, recognizing their powerful collaborative performance.
• Individual Commendation for Nora Kalback, honored for the impressive mural she created for the set.
Two students were also selected for the All-Festival Cast:

The cast and crew will head to the state competition in two weeks at Windham High School, where they will perform alongside the other Class A regional finalists:
