Principal’s Pen: January 16-20
Final exams are this week and this can be a very stressful time of the year for our students. Below I have shared with you the schedule for the week. Both Thursday and Friday are half days for high school students only.
Wednesday, January 18th: Period 1 (white day) final Both morning and afternoon MMTC students will attend classes at the tech center
Thursday, January 19th: Period 2 and 3 finals Only morning MMTC students will attend classes at the tech center
Friday, January 20th: Period 4 and 5 finals There is no MMTC attendance today
We have recently connected with Junior Achievement of Maine and are excited to offer our students the opportunity to hear from three of Maine’s larger employers during Lunch With A Professional on January 26th. We will be hosting representatives from Dead River, Bath Iron Works, and Moody Collision Centers. We invite any student who is interested in learning about career opportunities with any of these employers to attend this session during lunch A and lunch B.
If you are a parent of a senior please be on the lookout for an email from me in the next week or two. The time has come to begin planning for Project Graduation and we will need many volunteers to help out. More details will be shared at the meeting.
During the week of February 13th students in grades 9, 10, and 11 will receive their course registration forms for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. The will have a week to sign-up for the courses they wish to enroll in (all forms must be turned in by the end of school on February 17th).
Enjoy your day
