All gold medal winners will compete at the National SkillsUSA Championship down in Atlanta from June 19-23. We wish Dylan, Aaliyah, Raygan and Ivy the best of luck!

Our March Students of the Month are Ella Nielsen (grade 9), Kira Burchett (grade 10), and we had two seniors recognized this month Isabel Culver and Julia Wade. Our junior student of the month will be recognized at next month’s assembly. The Eagle Excellence Award was given to our very deserving librarian, Mrs. Shamus-Douglass. Congratulations to all!

We would like to congratulate the MHS Jazz Combo members for their Silver Medal performance at the D4 Jazz Fest last month.

The Eastern Division of the National Association of Music Education has selected a music composition of MHS senior Sophie Mihm to be performed at the Eastern Division Conference in Rochester, NY on April 14.  Sophie was the only student composer chosen from Maine and one of 11 students from 13 states to have their compositions performed at the upcoming conference.

Spring break will be the week of April 17-21. There is also no school on Friday, April 14th. When we return from break we will have just over a month and a half left of school. For seniors that time will fly right by. During the week of break I will be sending out to all senior parents an end of year letter, calendar of events connected to graduation and the contracts connected to graduation and Project Graduation. Should you have any questions specific to any of the senior activities please do not hesitate to reach out.

Enjoy your day

Paula
