MHS boys’ ice hockey competing in the Class B/North semi-finals – Saturday 3/1/25
Messalonskee and Cony split the two ice hockey games they played during the regular season. On Saturday, they two meet again, this time in the semifinals of the Class B North Boys’ Ice Hockey Championships.
The match is slated for 9:30 p.m. at Colby College.
No. 2 Cony (15-4) beat the third-ranked Eagles (14-5) in their first encounter this winter, prevailing 7-5 on its home rink.
But two weeks later, Messalonskee avenged that loss, edging the Rams 6-5 at Colby.
The winner of Saturday’s semifinal advances to the regional final slated for 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at a site to be determined.
