Oakland Fire Department
The Oakland Fire Department is currently accepting applications for call/volunteer firefighters. There will be a training program starting soon and will lead to the opportunity to become state certified. Available to any students who live in Oakland and are 18 years old.
Students ages 16 and 17 would be eligible for the junior firefighter program. There are limited number of openings and an application process. This will also be a great learning experience for the students.
