Principal’s Pen: March 2-6

Well the winter sports season is behind us and we would like to say thank you to all the student athletes who worked so hard all season long. The winter season is a long one and all involved spent countless hours at practices, meets, games, and matches. The winter sports recognition night is March 9th beginning at 6:00 pm in the PAC.
The MHS players will be performing The Tempest this Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Show times for Thursday-Saturday are 7:00 pm and for Sunday, 2:00pm. In conjunction with the Friday night show we will be hosting our annual Empty Bowls dinner beginning at 5:00 pm. All proceeds from this dinner will be donated to the local food pantries.

The course registration forms are not coming in as we had hoped. Therefore, we have extended the due date to Tuesday, March 3rd, with a 2:30 deadline. It is imperative that we receive these forms as we need to work on building out the master schedule for the 2020-2021 school year.

March 6th: The Student Council will be holding their annual blood drive in the gym, walk-ins are welcome
March 9th: Winter Sports Recognition, 6:00 pm in the PAC
March 11th: Parent/Teacher Conferences, 5:00-8:00
March 12th: Parent/Teacher Conferences, 3:00-6:30
March 16th: MMS/MHS Jazz Concert, 7:00 pm in the PAC
March 18th: School Board Meeting, presentation of the budget, 7:00 pm at MMS
March 20th: Teacher Workshop, no school for students
March 21st: Junior Auction and spaghetti dinner, beginning at 5:00 pm in the cafeteria
March 24th: Early Release Day
